The DECRYPT-BABYBRAIN clinical trial has officially launched. This first-of-its-kind study brings together leading paediatric centres across Canada to explore a transformative, radiation-free treatment approach for infants and young children with aggressive brain cancers. The trial builds on more than two decades of research and clinical experience that began at SickKids Hospital with the work of Dr. Annie Huang, and grew through broader collaboration.

In 2008, when Tali’s Fund began supporting research in this area, we could not have imagined the progress that would unfold over time. That early commitment has continued alongside researchers, clinicians, partner charities, and family advocates, who believed there had to be a better way to treat babies with brain cancer.

Tali’s Fund is truly proud to be part of the group of Canadian charities and funders who partnered to create the DECRYPT Research Grant.  Support from the ACCESS network is helping ensure this trial is accessible across Canada.  Years of collaborative effort have evolved into meaningful treatment options for children and families.  We are honoured to stand alongside the many partners who made this milestone possible.

We are grateful to our donors, whose ongoing support has helped make this work possible from the very beginning. Together we are bringing hope, innovation, and a brighter future to children with rare brain cancers.
