Cecilia Bolognesi Boff
Manager, Operations & Program
Hi! I’m Cecilia, and I joined Tali’s Fund in June 2023 as a Volunteer Fundraising, Marketing, and Planning Coordinator. It has been a pleasure working alongside Kim and our dedicated team of volunteers, and I’ve enjoyed contributing my skills in marketing, finance, and planning to support Tali’s Fund’s fundraising initiatives.
In October 2024, I transitioned into a part-time leadership role, overseeing team coordination, supporting the recruitment of new volunteers, and helping ensure Tali’s Fund’s programs and activities run smoothly. In my current role as Manager, Operations and Programs, I am proud to continue my work with Tali’s Fund as we build a brighter future for children facing brain cancers.

Mojeed Opeyemi Oyedeji
Website Coordinator
I am a multidisciplinary professional with a background in software and web development, AI research, and technical documentation. Over the past decade, I’ve contributed to diverse projects across academic, industrial, and non-profit sectors—building responsive websites, developing SaaS platforms, and leading technical documentation efforts for complex systems.
As a volunteer, I am dedicated to supporting mission-driven organizations in enhancing their online presence, streamlining content delivery, and ensuring their digital platforms are efficient, accessible, and aligned with their objectives.
Kesha Upadhyay
Graphic Designer
Hi! I’m Kesha, a recent graduate from York University’s Bachelor of Design program. I recently joined Tali’s Fund as a Graphic Design Assistant Volunteer. I have a strong passion for learning and helping out those in need. Tali’s Fund stood out to me as it’s a non-profit initiative to help children and their families who suffer from rare brain cancers. I hope to use my creative skills to help create and promote resources to build a brighter future for kids with brain cancers.
Lucia Pasco

She has managed programs that provide financial, social and psychological support to uninsured children with cancer and their families in Mexico. Lucía joined Tali’s Fund’s team of volunteers in July 2024 to support its fundraising efforts.
She holds a Master’s degree in international development and recently received her Master of Education from Brock University.
Sabrina Pereira
Hi! I’m Sabrina and I‘m an undergraduate student and immunology researcher at the University of Toronto. With previously established personal ties and experiences within the blood cancer community, I share a passion for bettering the lives of those confronting cancer. As a Tali´s Fund volunteer, I aspire to expand my impact, starting with children and families facing rare brain cancers.
Ross Goodwin
Grant Administrator and Writer
I’m Ross. I stare at commas, semicolons, and a variety of other punctuation to chase the perfect page. After graduating from San Francisco State University with a English Lit degree, I now spend my time finding opportunities to use my writing and editing skills for good causes.
It is an honor to work with Tali’s Fund and the entire team. Knowing my hyper-vigilant analysis of language does good here means the world to me.
Shelly
Hi! My name is Shelly and I’m pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University. I’ve always had an interest in exploring the healthcare field through a scientific lens, whether it was through clinic volunteer hours or academics, but the discovery of Tali’s story inspired a particular desire to help those facing cancer in a more direct way. Through my involvement, I hope to support the organization’s efforts in improving the lives of children with rare brain cancers, in any way possible.
Rachel
Social Media Content Creator
Hi! My name is Rachel, and I am a student currently completing my degree in Digital Marketing and Communications. I joined Tali’s Fund to combine my passion for content creation with a cause that is close to my heart.
The mission behind Tali’s Fund is inspiring. I am committed to contributing my time and skills to raise awareness and highlight the impact of this important work. I believe that even small efforts can make a meaningful difference, and I’m excited to be part of a team that is dedicated to creating a positive change.
Ariel
Hi! I’m Ariel, based in Toronto. In my spare time, I’ve been looking for meaningful ways to give back to the community, and volunteering with Tali’s Fund has been an incredible opportunity. One of my first hands-on fundraising experiences was helping organize Tali’s Fund’s Scavenger Hunt in partnership with CIBC, which was both rewarding and inspiring. The amazing team at Tali’s Fund made the entire process enjoyable and motivating, and I’m excited to continue supporting their vital work for children and families affected by brain cancers.
