Cecilia Bolognesi Boff

Manager, Operations & Program

Hi! I’m Cecilia, and I joined Tali’s Fund in June 2023 as a Volunteer Fundraising, Marketing, and Planning Coordinator. It has been a pleasure working alongside Kim and our dedicated team of volunteers, and I’ve enjoyed contributing my skills in marketing, finance, and planning to support Tali’s Fund’s fundraising initiatives.

In October 2024, I transitioned into a part-time leadership role, overseeing team coordination, supporting the recruitment of new volunteers, and helping ensure Tali’s Fund’s programs and activities run smoothly. In my current role as Manager, Operations and Programs, I am proud to continue my work with Tali’s Fund as we build a brighter future for children facing brain cancers.

Headshot of Ross Goodwin

Ross Goodwin

Grant Administrator and Writer

I’m Ross. I stare at commas, semicolons, and a variety of other punctuation to chase the perfect page. After graduating from San Francisco State University with a English Lit degree, I now spend my time finding opportunities to use my writing and editing skills for good causes.

It is an honor to work with Tali’s Fund and the entire team. Knowing my hyper-vigilant analysis of language does good here means the world to me.

Shelly

Hi! My name is Shelly and I’m pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University. I’ve always had an interest in exploring the healthcare field through a scientific lens, whether it was through clinic volunteer hours or academics, but the discovery of Tali’s story inspired a particular desire to help those facing cancer in a more direct way. Through my involvement, I hope to support the organization’s efforts in improving the lives of children with rare brain cancers, in any way possible.

Ariel

Hi! I’m Ariel, based in Toronto. In my spare time, I’ve been looking for meaningful ways to give back to the community, and volunteering with Tali’s Fund has been an incredible opportunity. One of my first hands-on fundraising experiences was helping organize Tali’s Fund’s Scavenger Hunt in partnership with CIBC, which was both rewarding and inspiring. The amazing team at Tali’s Fund made the entire process enjoyable and motivating, and I’m excited to continue supporting their vital work for children and families affected by brain cancers.
