This year, for Giving Tuesday, Tali’s Fund is proud to launch CUREKIDS – our fundraising campaign to support a new groundbreaking research initiative at Toronto’s SickKids Hospital!We are excited to partner with the U.S.-based charity Hope 4 ATRT to fund this innovative research study. It aims to increase survival rates while decreasing lifelong side effects for young children with ATRT, a potentially deadly form of brain cancer. Our research team will use cutting-edge technology to detect tumour DNA in spinal fluid. They hope to identify markers in the DNA to predict treatment response and determine which kids can be treated successfully without harmful radiation. This could also pave the way for better treatment options for other types of childhood brain cancers.Help us save lives! We need to reach our goal of $35,000!
