“A little support can go a long way.”
September marked Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Tali’s Fund joined paediatric cancer organizations all over the world as we came together to commemorate this special month.
Globally, there are more than 400,000 children diagnosed with cancer each year. That’s why we urge you to GO GOLD for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month – to help raise awareness! 🎗 The colour gold symbolizes how precious our children are as well as the resilience of our childhood cancer heroes.
Here are some ways people helped:
- Learned and shared some important and eye-opening facts about childhood cancer from Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer www.opacc.org/facts
- Wore something gold during the month of September and took a photo of it to share and spread awareness.
- Asked their local schools to Go Gold by hosting a “wear gold to school day”, sold gold ribbons, or hosted a go gold bake sale.
- Hosted their own fundraiser or made a donation.
